Editorial policy
Bright Culture Journal aims to make cultural subjects clear, specific and fair to the people and contexts involved. We distinguish interpretation from established information and welcome careful scrutiny.
Accuracy and context
We check names, dates, terminology and factual claims against suitable sources before publication. Articles should explain where an interpretation comes from, avoid presenting a single tradition as universal, and say plainly when evidence is limited or accounts differ. We do not invent quotations, sources or experience.
Editorial independence
Editorial choices are made for relevance to the publication and its readers. A partnership or commercial arrangement does not guarantee coverage, a favourable view or editorial control over independent articles.
Corrections
Readers can send a correction through the Contact page. We review specific, supportable concerns and update material when warranted; when a meaningful change is made, we aim to make that change clear to readers.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly identified as such and kept distinguishable from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence; when they are, they are labelled so readers can tell an illustration from documentary imagery.
